What is Skill Development (Skill India)?

Skill India Mission offers Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), providing free short-term skill training in IT, healthcare, construction, retail, and more. Trainees get industry-recognized certificates and placement support.

Step-by-Step Guide

Enroll in Course

Select a course (IT, Retail, Healthcare, Construction etc.) and enroll online or at center.

Complete Training

Attend classes (2 weeks to 6 months). Biometric attendance is mandatory.

Assessment & Certificate

Appear for third-party assessment exam. Pass to get NSQF-aligned certificate.
