What is EPFO — Employees Provident Fund?

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) manages three schemes: EPF (retirement savings), EPS (employee pension), and EDLI (insurance). Both employer and employee contribute 12% of basic salary to PF.

Step-by-Step Guide

Visit unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in > Activate UAN using your UAN, Aadhaar, and mobile number.

Link Aadhaar & KYC

Login and complete KYC by linking Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account.

Check PF Balance

Check balance via UMANG App, SMS (EPFOHO UAN to 7738299899), or member portal.

Submit PF Claim

For withdrawal/advance, go to Online Services > Claim (Form 31/19/10C) on the UAN portal.

Track & Receive

Track claim status on the portal. Amount credited in 7–20 working days.
