The Ministry of Minority Affairs runs educational and economic schemes for 6 notified minority communities. Key schemes include Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Merit-cum-Means scholarships, Seekho aur Kamao skill training, and Nai Manzil education-cum-skill programme.

Register with Aadhaar and mobile. Select minority scholarship scheme.
Fill academic details, income details, and upload documents.
Application verified by school/college before deadline (usually Sept–Oct).
Amount credited directly to student's bank account via DBT.
Pre-Matric: ₹1,000–₹10,000/year. Post-Matric: ₹5,000–₹20,000/year. Merit-cum-Means: up to ₹30,000/year.
Yes, family income must be below ₹1 lakh/year for pre-matric and below ₹2.5 lakh for post-matric.
No, students can apply for only one scholarship per year under NSP.
