What is Minority Welfare Schemes?

The Ministry of Minority Affairs runs educational and economic schemes for 6 notified minority communities. Key schemes include Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Merit-cum-Means scholarships, Seekho aur Kamao skill training, and Nai Manzil education-cum-skill programme.

Go to scholarships.gov.in for all minority scholarship applications.

Register with Aadhaar and mobile. Select minority scholarship scheme.

Institute Verification

Application verified by school/college before deadline (usually Sept–Oct).

Scholarship Credited

Amount credited directly to student's bank account via DBT.

Yes, family income must be below ₹1 lakh/year for pre-matric and below ₹2.5 lakh for post-matric.
