What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) is a Central Sector Scheme providing ₹6,000 per year to all landholding farmer families in three instalments of ₹2,000 each directly into their bank accounts.

Who Can Apply

  • Small and marginal farmers with cultivable land
  • All landholding farmer families (since June 2019)
  • Landholding must be in the farmer's name

  • Aadhaar Card (mandatory)
  • Bank passbook/account details
  • Land ownership records (Khasra/Khatauni)
